Day 1 - Depart Darwin Railway Terminal on the Ghan and travel to Katherine, and upon arrival transfer to yuor accommodation. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore the township of Katherine before joining your tour group. Please note, lunch is not included on day 1. Day 2 - Depart from your accommodation for a 2 hour cruise at Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) National Park. Return to Katherine for lunch before leaving for Kakadu National Park. Enter through the southern entrance via Pine Creek and Mary River. Arrive at Cooinda, home of Yellow Water Billiabong and, and take pleasure in the abundant wildlife, birds and crocodiles on a sunset cruise. Overnight at your choice of accommodation. (L) Day 3 - Depart Cooinda at 7.00am for the magical Nourlangie Rock. the rest of the day will create long lasting memories of Kakadu, including Bowali Visitor Centre, Ubirr, Border Store, East Alligator River and so much more. Arrive back in Darwin at approx 5.30pm. (L)
